I was half-blind from an eye-doctor appt, car top carrier got smashed in an underground parking lot, civic needed a tow....
but - we manage to leave Toronto at 10pm; not too far behind schedule.
Of course we also quickly realize that there are a bunch of items we forget - for instance, Nathan realizes a couple hours later at a rest stop that he left his shoes at home! (he walked to the car in his socks!)
We enter USA at 2:30am at the Windsor/Denver Ambassador bridge border.
We cross the Mississippi river into Iowa @ 9am ET - but then realized that it
was actually 8am local Central time! yeah!
- 8am in Iowa
